This is the story of the band Strangel. From the past to this very day.
The biography will continue to grow as long as the band goes on and will be updated once in a half year. Enjoy!

The band Strangel was formed during a wild night out in the coastal town Kalmar at the begining of 2006.
Richard Flow was tired of his solo project Eyeflow and Alecx Kincaid where looking for someone to share his vision about creating music in the style of electro-alternative-goth.
The two of them run into each other during some drinks and after a while becoming friends they decided to start up a music project.
And so the story begins..

After finishing some early demo songs a friend of them, Marcus Oak decides to join the band.
Together they started to make some more songs for their first live-performance at a local festival they had been promised to play at.
However the show where canceled in the very last minute and the band more or less broke down because of this.
Strangel didn´t really excist after this for a while.

Early in 2007 Richard and Alecx deciedes to pick up the band again.
With some new equipment and a much heavier sound the morale where back.
Another friend of the band called J-Dee joins the band and Strangel is once again a three member crew.
At this time the band where asked to perform at a festival called VOID.
An event that included som big bands and it was the perferct chance for Strangel to try their wings in front of a crowd for the very first time.
The show went on very well and Strangel felt delightful about the band.

In the early summer 2007 some more songs had been created and the band decided that their first real demo was finished.
It contained 5 songs which all sprawled in different styles.
The Demo 2007 was appreciated and Strangel recieved a great feedback.
Among this,a review in a local newspaper and participation at two complitation albums with various artists.

Despite the fact that Strangel where moving on pretty good J-Dee suddenly decides to leave the band. With a new gig in Stockholm coming up Strangel was once again just Richard and Alecx.
A new song called "Animal machine" saw the light of the day and the band where ready to descend upon the big city.
E-ric, an old friend to the band jumps in as a replacer for J-Dee at Club Volga in Stockholm. The show went on very well and it was cozy evening.

The autumn 2007 Marcus Oak contribute with the band for a consert in Gothenburg. He realize how much he loves to create music and rejoin the band after this.
The ability to work and understand each other seems to work out fine and according to the band the atmosphere is better than ever.

2008. As the cold winter is aproaching, Strangel goes indoor and starts to write music for their forthcoming debut-album.
With more guitar elements than before combined with purchase of some new electronic instruments the band sets sail for a "alternative/electronic/goth" sound.
